Love was truly in the air this Valentine’s Day as Rachel and Sam said “I do” in a celebration that was as heartfelt as it was stunning. Set against the timeless backdrop of Lowndes Grove, their wedding was the perfect blend of Southern charm, romantic details, and personal touches that made the day unforgettable.

A Pop of Blue & A Nod to the Lowcountry
While Valentine's Day is traditionally wrapped in reds and pinks, Rachel and Sam put their own spin on the palette by incorporating a soft, elegant light blue throughout their design. From the bridesmaids' dresses to the delicate linens and floral accents, the blue brought a refreshing pop of color that felt effortlessly coastal and timeless.
Adding to the local flavor, the couple thoughtfully wove in elements that paid tribute to the Lowcountry — most notably through oyster shell accents that appeared in everything from the their cake to the custom signage. These natural textures gave the day an organic, coastal feel, grounding the romance in a sense of place.

Love in the Details
Being Valentine’s Day, Rachel and Sam couldn’t resist adding a few festive nods to the most romantic day of the year. One of our favorite details? Their custom cocktail napkins, each printed with a sweet saying and their names, celebrating their love on the day of love. It was a subtle yet playful touch that guests absolutely adored — the kind of detail that makes a wedding feel deeply personal and joyfully curated.

A Celebration to Remember
From the golden-hour ceremony overlooking the Ashley River to the candlelit reception filled with laughter and dancing, Rachel and Sam’s wedding was a true celebration of love, not only for each other but for the place they chose to say “forever.”
It was classic Charleston, wrapped in light blue hues, sealed with a kiss, and tied together with the undeniable magic of Valentine’s Day.
